It now appears that after a deluge of complaints from existing t-mobile customers who had to pay $379 for the Nexus One rather than the “new customer” discounted price of $179 that Google are considering a to refund t-mobile customers of $100.
This is good news and sets straight an unfair penalty that existing t-mobile subscribers were forced to pay to get their hands on the Google Nexus One phone.

Yes . they should get the refund .
Good move google. When the nexus one is released UN Europe the tariffs should be cheaper and the process smoother!
A refund is appreciated even if it is only $100. seeing as though over the life of the 2 year contract t-mobile will collect in excess of $4000.00 for mobile phone service from their subscribers!
Hey I just wanted to let you know, I really like the written material on your web site. But I am utilising Flock on a machine running version 9.10 of Crashbang Ubuntu and the UI aren’t quite kosh er. Not a big deal, I can still fundamentally read the articles and look for for information, but just wanted to inform you about that. The navigation bar is kind of difficult to apply with the config I’m running. Keep up the good work!
This blog helped me explain this subject to my son. Thanks
I just wanted to thank you for writing this. It really made my day

I agree the refund should be applied – maybe Google will learn lessons for the European rollout
